Mamorumori forest is the least inhabited during winter. Many caretakers take shelter in their houses and lots of residents do the same. But do not be fooled by the quietness of the forest: most are awake! Lots of festivities such as Christmas are held and activities like rolling around in the snow are often taking place throughout the Mamorumori forest. Not everyday it will be snowing, so during those times you have a high chance of encountering residents during your stay.Â
