Dentou 伝統 stood near one of the many shrines of Mamorumori forest. Residents would stop by to pray for their loved ones that already left Mamorumori forest before them. Dentou would help support their sad feelings and turn them into happy thoughts. After many years Dentou has finally decided to take the step and sign up for adoption himself. He is very scared to find out what life will be like outside of the forest, but surely he is excited to find out soon! Dentou means 'tradition' in Japanese.
This treeplom is part of the winter 2026 collection. As snow blankets Mamorumori forest, many residents prepare to hibernate. The forest becomes a tranquil white blanket with few stirring in the quiet. Amidst the serene landscape, new arrivals are welcomed warmly. Despite the chill the forest is alive with festivities: from crackling fires to snowball fights.
Treeploms have a polyester filling and are made of local second-handed fabrics. When dirty please try to gently handwash as they are afraid of washing machines and dry cleaners. In case a washing machine is unavoidable: try to protect it with a layer and choose a handwash free setting or max 40˚C. A treeplom is approximately 42x15x15 cm. Keep in mind that adopting a resident comes with high responsibility. They need love and care! The resident comes without attributes such as the plantpot.
