Cherry ﾁｪﾘｰ loves spring! Once her first petals start popping up she can't wait to show them off to her friends. For a tree she is quite fast. Therefore she loves playing games with other mamorumori residents. Her favorite candy is... cherry candy! Which is why she is called Cherry. She found one on the ground one day. It was a strange looking small thing. She was sure that some residents wear them... But this one was too small and smelled sweet! When she tasted it she was in love. Cherry hopes to find more of these one day to research them a bit further.
Cherry is part of the Cherry Blossom Collection of 2020. This collection contains a number of residents that appear during cherry blossom season in mamorumori forest. It is inspired by the famous cherry blossom season that appears throughout Japan each year. Lots of different browns (branches) and different pinks (petals) run through the island throughout late March and early April.
This treeplom is approximately 42cm high x 20 cm broad x 19 cm deep. Completely handmade out of local fabrics, polyester filling and DMC threads for details. Please do not put this treeplom in the washing machine as they might not survive the ride. Gently try to clean her by hand, if needed (at mamorumori we like to think they stay clean but you never know). Treeploms contain a lot of small leaves that might not be fitted for a very young audience.
