Kyoju 教授 is wise. You can always knock on his roots if you need any advice. He has lived his entire life in mamorumori forest and has seen many, many seasons. Kyoju will be missed by everyone as he is a well-known resident of the area. 'Kyoju' means 'old-growth tree' in Japanese.
Summer treeploms have a lot of beautiful green leaves and love to show them all day! They are at their best at summer, but it does not necessarily mean they like the heat. It is just the time of the year that the tree is growing at its best.
Treeploms are approximately 46cm x 17 cm x 15 cm. Completely handmade out of local fabrics andpolyester filling. Please do not put this treeplom in the washing machine as they might not survive the ride. Gently try to clean them by hand, if needed (at mamorumori we like to think they stay clean but you never know). Treeploms contain a lot of small leaves that might not be fitted for a very young audience.
