Ooguma オオグマ and Koguma コグマ are brothers. Their origin is somewhat of a mystery. One day the night sky of mamorumori forest was full of stars. When suddenly a star began to fall down... breaking in pieces! The pieces spread across mamorumori forest. A plum rabbit noticed a couple of pieces on the ground; wondering what it might be. Not knowing what it was, the plum rabbit hid the pieces underground. Time passed by and the pieces began to grow.. into plants! The other residents of the forest could not believe the strange colors these plants had and their origin was never revealed.

These starploms / wiploms are the only two from mamorumori forest. Ooguma オオグマ comes from the Japanese way of saying 'Big bear': the constallation. It seems that he was part of a star near this group.

Starploms / Wiploms are made out of mostly polyester and local fabrics. When dirty please try to gently handwash as they are afraid of washing machines and dry cleaners. A starplom is approximately 15x15x15 cm.
