Oyakodon loves Christmas dinners and often plans what she is going to make at least two months ahead. Oyakodon served as a Christmas tree more often, so she is required to start preparing food soon, as she is not able to move around much as a Christmas tree. Oyakodon loves the decorations that residents put in her branches each year and looks forward to seeing them. Oyakodon means 'bowl of rice topped with chicken and egg' in Japanese.
This treeplom is part of the winter 2022-2023 collection. After cleaning up the leafy mess of autumn the resdients are preparing foods and drinks to survive the cold winter. The roads of Mamorumori forest turn more wuiet and the Plum Rabbits are working with the ?Bulky Bears to arrange constructions for residents to stay in for the winter. Others enjoy the cold and go outside to play.
Oyakodon is approximately 68 cm long x 40 cm wide x 12 cm height (26" + 15" + 4" inch). Completely handmade out of local fabrics and polyester filling. Please do not put this treeplom in the washing machine as they might not survive the ride. Gently try to clean them by hand, if needed (at Mamorumori we like to think they stay clean but you never know). Keep in mind that adopting a resident comes with high responsibility. They need love and care!
