Petunia has been around Mamorumori forest for a couple of years. Her cabin would be seen from far away as she would put petunia flowers on her terrace throughout the entire year (so even in winter!). As petunia's are her favorite, the petunia's symbolism extends far beyond just its visual appeal. The petunia flower has several different meanings depending on the context and culture, from representing resentment or anger to embodying the positive qualities of calm and nurturing love.
This Plum Rabbits is part of the winter 2026 collection. As snow blankets Mamorumori forest, many residents prepare to hibernate. The forest becomes a tranquil white blanket with few stirring in the quiet. Amidst the serene landscape, new arrivals are welcomed warmly. Despite the chill the forest is alive with festivities: from crackling fires to snowball fights.
Plum Rabbits are the only permanent fauna residents in the Mamorumori forest. They preserve the flora and research new species. A Plum Rabbit has a wide variety of colors, but can be recognised by their long ears and scarf. They live throughout the entire forest, but often want to live near treeploms, ploms, mountains and fields. Plum Rabbits, unlike rabbits outside of Mamorumori forest, often stay in self-made cabins or cottages. They often live in groups up to five Plum Rabbits per cabin. However most Plum Rabbits rather live alone as it is easier to build a cabin that way. Most Plum Rabbits like staying outside and often travel throughout the Mamorumori forest, depending on their responsibilities.
Plum Rabbits are made out of polyester filling and local fabrics. When dirty please try to gently handwash as they are afraid of washing machines and dry cleaners. A Plum Rabbit is approximately 30x22x13 cm. Keep in mind that adopting a resident comes with high responsibility. They need love and care!
